The Artist 胡晓幸
Xiao Xing Hu is an internationally acclaimed watercolor artist whose works reveal a unique perspective on life. His paintings have received more than one hundred awards, including top honors from the American Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society. Landmark pieces such as Nepal Men, Plaid Scarf, Looking Attentively, and Weekend Fair have earned him international recognition.
Born in Kunming, China, during a challenging period, Hu was sent from the city to live and work in the countryside due to the circumstances of the time. Yet he pursued his passion for art with remarkable perseverance. In 1988, he graduated from Yunnan Art University, fulfilling a long-cherished dream. His journey reflects dedication and resilience. Humble despite his achievements, he believes his success comes not from talent alone but from relentless effort, inspiring audiences worldwide.
胡晓幸是一位享誉国际的艺术家，以其独具特色的水彩作品而闻名。 他的画作常常以独特的视角展现生活的瞬间，给人以深刻而独到的艺术体验。多年来，他的艺术创作屡获殊荣，赢得了国际艺术界的广泛认可。2013年，他的两幅代表作《尼泊尔人》和《格子围巾》在美国国家水彩协会展览中分获一等奖及“大师奖”；2014年，其作品《加德满都大学教授》又在美国国家水彩协会第94届国际展览中荣获《艺术家》杂志奖。
他出生于中国昆明，早年因当时的特殊背景来到农村生活与劳动，但始终坚守对艺术的热爱。1988年，他从云南艺术学院毕业，实现了长久以来的夙愿。他的人生历程彰显了坚韧与执着。尽管成就非凡，他始终保持谦逊，坚信成功来自比别人更努力的付出，并以作品持续感动世界各地观众。
